In January Dan moved from Hornsby to Oakhurst Anglican Church in the Western Suburbs of Sydney.

We will miss him, Mandy and the children very much (as well as Robyn).

There are now many more opportunities for people to be involved in ministry positions in St Peter's, especially with the youth.

Opportunities for Service 

1. Visiting Team We want a group of people willing to be trained to visit newcomers to our church.

2. Gardening. Our grounds are constantly kept looking neat and tidy by a rostered group of people who are always looking for a few extra hands.                           Contact Judy Brown 9987 4671

3. Handymen. There are several tasks that need attention:

            a. Re cord the sashes in some windows in the small hall.

            b. Install some benches in the Vestry.

4. Training to share the gospel. Rob is willing to train people to share the good news of Jesus. A variety of techniques to choose from, including CE, EE, WE, 6 Steps to Talking About Jesus, 5 Fingers, 2 Ways to Live...   Contact Rob Denham 9482 7250.

5. Sunday School Teaching. There are always opportunities for people to teach or assist in our 8am or 10am Sunday Schools. Prohibited persons need not apply. Training can be arranged.     Contact Dot Denham 9482 7250.

6. Nursing Home Visiting. If you would like to visit people in nursing homes etc, Contact Rob 9482 7250.

7. Preaching Classes. Rob is willing to train a small group in preaching during 2012, especially for the 6pm service. Talk with him.
