Opportunities for Service 

1. ESL (Thurs 10am to 12) is looking for more assistants (trained or not).          Contact Jim Steel 9457 6020.

2. Musicians for 9.30am & 5pm services. We want more musicians to grow our bands and encourage us.                Contact Rob or Peter Denham 9482 7250.

3. Visiting Team We want a group of people willing to be trained to visit newcomers to our church.

4. Setting up the hall for 5pm church. To allow our musicians more time for practice we need 3 people to come at 4.40pm each Sunday to set up the hall for the service.               Contact Dan Henby 8407 9587.

5. Learning to deliver a sermon/talk. Rob wants to train people to prepare short talks or sermons. Regular monthly meetings for input & delivering a short talk you prepare.             Contact Rob Denham 9482 7250.

6. Gardening. Our grounds are constantly kept looking neat and tidy by a rostered group of people who are always looking for a few extra hands.                           Contact Judy Brown 9987 4671

7. Handymen. There are several tasks that need attention:

            a. Re cord the sashes in some windows in the small hall.

            b. Install some benches in the Vestry.

            c. gyprock, plaster and paint the walls and ceiling of our crypt.

8. 8am Choir We are always looking for more people to join our choir. It practices on Thursday nights twice a month, and sings at the 8am service on the first and 3rd Sundays, as well as the evensongs.       Contact Judy Brown 9987 4671.

9. Training to share the gospel. Rob is willing to train people to share the good news of Jesus. A variety of techniques to choose from, including CE, EE, WE, 6 Steps to Talking About Jesus, 5 Fingers, 2 Ways to Live...   Contact Rob Denham 9482 7250.

10. Sunday School Teaching. There are always opportunities for people to teach or assist in our 8am or 9.30am Sunday Schools. Prohibited persons need not apply. Training can be arranged.     Contact Dot Denham 9482 7250.

11. Nursing Home Visiting. If you would like to visit people in nursing homes etc, Contact Rob 9482 7250.

Any other ideas will be listened to and considered. Ask Rob.
