Youth Group

We offer a junior and senior youth group here at St Peter’s.

Our Junior Youth Group (Years 6-9) is held every Friday evening (during school term) from 7-8pm.

Each week we will play some games and learn God’s word. Growing in our friendships as we grow in our understanding of God.
Cost each week is free.

English Lessons

ESL is on every Thursday 10 -12 noon in the School term. Come along to the Church Hall to join in. It costs $2 with morning tea included. This is a basic and friendly English conversation classes for everyone for everyday needs such as cooking, shopping and doctor’s visits. The leaders are qualified teacher with helpful assistants.

From 9.30am to 10am there is a free Easy English Bible Class. Everyone is welcome to join.
From 12.10pm to 12.40pm there is an Easy English church service.

Men’s Lunch

We meet on the 3rd Thursday each month from 12.30pm at Asquith Bowling Club.
We want to get to know each other better, share together and encourage each other.

Playtime meets every Monday from 10 am to 12 noon for $3 per family.

Scripture Teaching

The local protestant churches have combined to provide Scripture teaching in the local public and High schools. We currently help by providing teachers from this parish to Hornsby South Public School. We also help support paid Scripture teachers for Asquith Boys, Asquith Girls, Hornsby Girls, and Normanhurst Boys High Schools.

Signing Choir

Learning to sign? Join our fun signing choir! Sundays 3pm during school terms.

Learn to Serve

People may not know how to serve others, or what God has gifted them in being able to do. Learn to Serve is a graded program of many different short courses (often going for 90 minutes a week for 6 weeks) designed to help you discover more. More information supplied upon request. 3pm Sundays during school terms

Weekly Dinner

Join the weekly dinner hosted by our parishioners in their home. All are welcome, including people with mental health issues. Time and place supplied on request.

Market Morning

Join us for a fun morning at church, browsing our market stores from the handmade to second hand finds. When you’re ready for a break, tour our beautiful church or unwind with our sausage sizzle, coffees/tea and scones. 8am – 1pm once or twice a year.
