The Dish – Community Outreach
The Dish is a local Christian organisation that meets at St Peter’s Hornsby, providing food, friendship and inclusive community to disadvantaged people in the Hornsby area.
The Dish …
- Provides meals to up to 40 people two nights per week (Tuesdays and Fridays) all year-round
- Offers friendship from an accepting community
- has a Community Food Program, rescuing fresh food that would otherwise be wasted from local supermarkets and bakeries so that disadvantaged people can benefit and the Community Pantry is regularly stocked for people to access when needed
We don’t ask questions about why people use us, we are simply glad they do.
